Can someone please define "production week" - seems to be confusion

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what production week means. I've heard two scenarios - that Week 1 this year started on January 4th as the week before was week zero...

THEN, I've heard that it has nothing to do with calendar weeks.

So I'm Week 19. WHAT week will my car be built? I've heard May 2, May 9, and the last week in May. My MA said first week in May. One person on ASK MINI said first week in May. Another rep on ASK MINI said the last week in May. I'm still "on order". Thanks!

I order our two MCS on 3/23 and got production dates of 4/14 and 4/16, both are scheduled for production and both have been asigned vin numbers. I feel for you wish there was some way to ease the pain of uncertainty. Hang in there.

Mine is a week 16/17. Thats this week/next week. Yours will be in two weeks time. So yeah, the first week of May definately. Hope this helps

put the date in cell A1
in another cell put:
WEEKNUM(A1)

Thanks! He went into production the week of May 2. He was complete on May 6. Been motoring for about a month now, and it's the most incredible thing!
