Hey everyone I ordered my Mini on Monday the 12, and am already going crazy, wanting it so bad, its scheduled to be here in June.

This is our 2nd MINI!!! Hubby wanted his own. Ordered on Tax Day, called ASK MINI just now and they said we're tentatively in the June 7-14 production group (week 26?). We've been through this waiting thing already, I picked up Audrey, my 2004 CR/W MCS on Feb 11th after a 4 month wait. This will be a little easier this time.

Hey Barnabas, we're in Rancho Cucamonga, are you in the group buy to have yours shipped from Classic? We're gonna fly back and pick it up and then drive back to CA. This will be fun to document it all from the VERY start. I didn't start tracking Audrey until she'd already started production.

Yep I'm in the group buy to have my MCS shipped. Dang I wish more people would join and get their MCS shipped so I can get a low shipping rate! hehe it's ok though I just want the car! And driving your MINI back should be very fun, I wish I can do it, but just don't have the time...

Also where in Rancho Cucamonga are you in? Around Ontario Mills, but I guess that's near the border in the business district. I'm going to start school at UTI there and it's in Rancho Cucamonga. If you see a DS/B buzzing around that area, it's probably me, unless someone else decides to get one. hehe

just wanted to let everyone know, that mini changed my production week, and it is now scheduled for the last week of april, so hopefully, yours all will be moved up also,

We toyed with the idea of having it shipped, but hubby has a job going in WV and wants to stop by there on his back to CA. Julie (our MA) said she had 5 Californians in the June group and was trying to get them all on the same transport. Without us, it must be 4 now. Hopefully 4 will help to keep your costs down.

I'm not near ONT Mills, but I go by there regularly. I have only seen 1 DS/B in Rancho and it was up by Chaffey College. I usually see a couple LY/W and a VR/B. I also spotted a Gold/B the other day. So once we get hubby's B/B, you can look for his or mine CR/W. I've got bonnet stripes and hopefully I'll have my plates by then. 5*COOPR. The asterisk is the star symbol.

BTW if you've not heard of the So Cal MIni Maniacs, you should consider joining our club. We just returned from an awesome run today through Temecula and on up to Idyllwild. It snowed in Idyllwild while we were there! Attached is Audrey's bum all snowy! 47 MINIs were on this run and it was a blast. PM me if you want more info.

I was hoping more people would join so we'd get around $800 for shipping, but I think it's going to be no more than $1000 now. Which is fine I just want my MCS! I don't blame ya for not shipping the car btw I'm sure you'll have tons more fun enjoying your car on the long trip back home than having it shipped.

I really like the pictures as I LOVE snow and rain. So today was a good day for me w/ al lthe rain here in SoCal

Also Fdlove, did you call ASKMINI to find out your production week? I registered for the Owner's Lounge and nothing about a production week. Just the 'On Order' notice

Yes, quite an odd day here in sunny So. Cal.! Rain and snow.

I called ASK MINI and they told me we're tentatively in production week 26 which is June 7-14. They said that could go 1 week or 2 either way, but if I called back in mid May they'd have a firm date. It's worht a call.

Called ASKMINI (yeah I gave in) and my MCS is scheduled for production! Yay! Ok well it probably won't go into production until June anyways, but glad to see it's moving along. The website needs to be updated though

Just got the call from my dealer yesterday (MINI of Murray) that I will be in their allotment for the June production group.

Alright another person in the June group Waiting does suck, I still don't quite understand why I won't get my car earlier if I can't change my order afther the 28th. Julie told me I have to change stuff by the 28th, but she said my car is still June production.

Hello everyone. I ordered my Mini April 10, but I don't have a production week assigned yet (just "Scheduled for Production"). My dealer said I would have a July delivery, so that should put me in the June group, right? I hope...
