Was your MINI delivered on time?

Ordered June 16, 05. Told it would be 2.5months (end of August) and got it August 13,05. Took 1 month, 28 days.

I ordered mine 29th Dec and asked for a April Del' and it came on time ....

anyway though....I had my 2006 Cooper ordered on the 10th of March. Was given the whole production # for tracking and last week i checked it on-line and it said estimated delivery date 4/16/06
i called the guy at the MINI dealership in Indianapolis and he said it should be that Saturday or Monday when they get it and to go ahead and head up from Nashville, TN. (my grandparents ordered it for me for graduation) and when i called him that following Monday to see if everything was ready, assuming it was there, and he said he will see me in the morning, only to call back an hour later and tell me that the truck hadn't dropped my Cooper off and to check within the next couple of days....called today....nothing.

Senior Prom is this week...

would it be optimistic to believe it will actually make it by Saturday or should i not stay on edge like i have been?

Ours has been built a week early and now sits at the dealer as we don't want it until the 2nd September (New Reg).

Ooh exciting! Mine is a week 38 build I think - I really hope it's built early as I need to give my Mini to the dealers on the 15th (well, I don't have to but it's 3 yrs old so I'd have to MOT it etc.) and I really want to have my car in time for my other half's birthday at the end of Sept.

I ordered my MCS on 11/3/07 and it went into production on 11/5/07...by 11/12/07 it was going through QC and at the dock in S. Hampton on 11/13/07. It's now out to sea and on it's way to NY/NJ scheduled to arrive on US soil on11/23/07...If all goes well, Towne BMW Mini should have it by the first week of December and I will be the proud owner of a pure silver - black top Mini Cooper S! For now, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Strangely I ordered my MCS on 3rd November 07 too, and likewise it went into production straight away. Happily I have already taken delivery, but I guess it helps when you're on the right side of the pond to where the car is built!

My MINI hit the dock in Fremantle on the 23rd Nov and the dealer (located 20km from the port) can't deliver it to me till 17th Dec

Well my MINI Cooper is due for delivery on 1st March 08 (08 plate), however when i called the Dealer yesterday to obtain the number plate (for insurance etc), they told me that they couldnt give me the Reg as the car hadnt been built... I'm now left wondering if i'll get my MINI on 1st March. I was told by the dealer that they couldnt check on the system as they had no Admin Staff in until Wednesday 20th!!! Surely someone at the dealer would be able to log onto the system and find out the status of my car! I ordered it back Early Jan, and was told delivery 1st March.

Has anyone else had the same problem??

I did not get my new copper s when I was supposed to.I ordered it on 26/01/08 and was told it was going to be delivered on 01/03/08,but Iam only now going to pick it up next tuesday. The dealer said this was because they had to allow 2-3 weeks for transportation from Oxford .The customer service from my dealer has been poor as I have had to ring them up to find out the progress of my car,when they said they would contact me.
