My week 33 prod, compl 8/10 and at port of exit 8/12 now has left port of exit (8/18) and is en route to Pt Hueneme. Ask Mini knows nothing of shipper or vessel?

Oh, good to know. Mine was done on the 10th also, but still saying it's waiting at the port.

Looks like (hopefully) mine will catch a ride soon.

What is the last 7 of your vin if you don't mind me asking? My father ordered a MINI (3rd MINI in family now) and it was finished last week but still shows that it is in oxford and WW doesn't show that it is even booked for a vessel yet. (closest i could find is about 20-30 vins before his).

I don't think the VIN is a matter here. Mine was booked on Freedom (will be departing on 23rd) and I was able to track it by the WW site. Like some other members, all a sudden I no longer be able to track by VIN on the site. Recently, I am able to track by booking number for Freedom, and saw that there is none of the Minis 'Received at terminal' are there before Aug 13 (including mine, and mine was there since the 12th). Meaning possibly mine plus other 77 Minis (number I got at the very last time I was able to track by VIN) are moved to some other ships, not a WW ship.

prolly k-line or nyk...guess we got spoiled with ww that now that they are using k-line and nyk for some ports..oh well...thanks.

No they certainly don't. It's like MINI absolves itself from port to port. And also remember that "In Transit," according to A-M, has "broad" meaning: ie your (our) car(s) could be only booked and confirmed for a boat that hasn't even arrived--or left yet.

I hope you're right, tho. Have U heard anything about what line/ship we're on? I've tried NYK to get schedules but they have site issues and K-Line is so cryptic it makes my head spin.

Or is it Walenius Wilhelmsen? (I thought not.)

My MCS arrived at port on 8/14, so unless it was bumped from a Hueneme-bound boat we're probably riding together (as is aautobee.)

A-M said that any "In Transit" info should be asked from our MAs. I'm seeing mine t'row (also to see the PH/W 05 MCS demo) and I'll post anything I discover/hear/read. Jimbo

My last 7 is TF80354. My MA just advised me that today's delivery report shows arrival at Port Hueneme Sep 9. No one knows what shipping line. The WW vessel schedule shows nothing leaving Southampton until 8/21 so I'm sure it's not WW. The 23 days enroute coincides with WW though with the stops in Charleston, etc. I know of no way to track whatever vessel it may be. By the way, my MA says they will know the vessel and shipper AFTER the baby is DELIVERED.

My best guess is a NYK vessel called Ho Jin (call sign YJYN8 ) if anyone can find route or schedule info to prove me wrong or right... please post!!!

spoke to askmini and they said that I actually left on 8/16 - there were 2 probable vessels that day:

call sign 3ERP5 Emden K-line
call sign YJYN8 HoJin NYK

now just have to figure out which one is headed for the Canal... will start checking Oceanweather for those two call signs.... However, know from other posts that some vessels don't post weather updates.... If Sequence got an arrival date of 9/9; that would make sense for one of these vessels too - if you say about 20+ days....

Searched the K-Line site thoroughly and I'm pretty sure they do not go through the Canal to Hueneme. My guess is you (or we) are on NYK then. Wish we could access NYK info without a password.

MA told me today arrival date at VPC has moved up to Sep 5. Dealer should have baby a week or 10 days later.

No new info yet, but it is getting closer (a lot closer than iI was 8 months ago). It would be cool if the ship docked a day early like it seems all the easterners ships did. I am also glad that the ship squeezed between the sets of hurricanes. I have an appointment at 10:00 on monday at the dealer to test drive the MCS Convertible, If i hear anything I will let you guys know...
