Our '05 MCS is reported to be at the port awaiting a shipping vessel to the US. Anyone else with me and any idea of sailing date / time ?
Getting ready to cut a check and fedex it over to Classic Mini :-)

I have an MCSC which is also awaiting transport. Mine will be on a ship named the Carmen which is scheduled to depart Southampton on 9/17 and arrive in New York on 9/25.

worked great - our MCS gets loaded onto a vessel called 'The Patriot' and departs the UK on 9/12. Not sure of the port of entry into the US but could be in the US as early as the 9/22 or as late as 9/26.

Then it has to get to the dealer then San Diego - so mid October delivery seems reasonable.

Suprised they have more than ship going - but there again given the demand maybe it's not so surprising afterall !

You'll probably find more information on the appropriate (in your case Sept production) thread. They are long, but no one will probably care if you just post and don't read all of it.

Also, in the FAQ, there's some more info on tracking your car. (and the ship its on)

The wait across the ocean is very trying though, you are so close to delivery, but still weeks away

Hadn't noticed there was a special forum for topics such as this - as for the waiting I'm a patient kind of guy, it's more a case of my wife whose impatient.
Still I'm off to South Korea tomorrow for a week - that'll keep me busy....

My Mini is at the port, too. Scheduled to set sail tomorrow on "Patriot" - be in NC on 9/23. WOO-HOO!
