| MINI2 Regular | Hello Gang, I have a HB/W MCS in week 45. Than would be November 7th, right? My MA told me today that delivery should be about a month after that week. I certainly hope it comes in and Mini of Peabody gets the extras installed before Christmas. Dennis |

Offline | Dennis, I heard the same thing regarding delivery from MA today. The wait is proving to be difficult and the Owners Lounge doesnt appear it will update with my list of options until it goes into production. What extras are you having added on your MINI? Bob |

| MINI2 Regular | Hello Bob, The dealer installed extras include driving lamps and the leather shift and brake covers. I told Steve (MA) that this long wait only makes me want to add more to the car. He said that happens often. I expect the installation of said items to delay the car about a day, but no more than that. Dennis |

Offline | Dennis, I agree with the accessories as more time passes I keep spending more money. The brake covers have peaked my interest. Can you tell me what the covers do and how much are they? i'm also doing the driving lights and stripes. Andy, I hope our cars turn out to set a record through the build process but not sacrfice any quality. Bob |

Offline | We just ordered my wife's 05, with a week 44 build date. Since most of the daysin week 44 are in November, does that make it a November build? Our MA said maybe by Thanksgiving PW/B Luxury Pack (roof, computer, etc.) Sports Pack (wheels, fogs, DSC, etc.) Chrono Pack I think the only dealer-installed accessories we're getting are floor mats and the aux plug. -Eric |

| MINI2 Regular | Hello Fellow Mini Anticipators, The 7 thing is a nice coincidence. JEDI67 is my current vanity plate on my Dodge Ram. Jedi being, well, Jedi and 67 being the year I was born. I have already ordered my vanity plate for the Mini. Since the car is a HB white top with some chrome, I figured any respectable STAR WARS fan would name it R2-D2. Unfortunately the Mass. RMV has arcane and cryptic rules regarding the arrangement of characters on vanity plates so R2-D2 will have to be RTWOD2. Close enough, eh? For Miniman007, the shift and break leather covers are about $84 and $45 respectively. That does not include installation, which I have yet to get a quote on. Speaking of leather, I was really hot for the lapus blue leather and ordered it. I have heard a few say here on mini2 that the blue does not match the the Hyper Blue very well. Any thoughts? Thanks Dennis PS. Has anyone figured out when week 45 begins? November 7th or October 31st? |

Offline | I just ordered mine tonight & get my production number tomorrow (I was told it was a November build). My MA said that I should get it before Christmas, but with production/shipping delays caused by Thanksgiving, Christmas, and hurricanes it might not be ready until January (with the additional $500 MSRP increase). Has anyone else run into this problem? |

Offline | Dennis, I like your personalized plates. I have been thinking about getting custom plates for my MINI but I cant decide what I want. I live in Texas and the way I understand it is that I can submit three choices but may not get my first choice. KJ - My MA is pretty sure the MINI will arrive before the end of the year which will be great. If we get the cars before the end of the year we wont have to pay the increased pricing . Also, I called my MA and asked about the Bluetooth module for the 05's and she said it wasnt available in the sates yet but will be soon. Anyone else hear this? Bob |

Offline | Dennis, As I understand it the Bluetooth module fits in with the stereo and allows you to use a Bluetooth cell phone in the car and the sound runs through the speakers and there is a mic by the sunroof controls. I read some posts on the previous versions and found that it was functional it lacked MINI styling. If it looks cool I'm pulling the trigger. Bob |

Offline | As far as I can tell from the FAQs, the production week is the week it will be finished, with most of the dates showing as Fridays when the production is announced. Counting back from December 31, I get week 44 ending on Sun, 7 November (or Sat the 6th depending on when you end your week...), so I'm thinking that puts week 45 beginning the 8th (or 7th...). So now does anyone know how long it takes for the options we order to show up online? The car's color and interior show up, but not the options. I just want to make sure they're right before they make the car (I know it's a bit silly, since it's all correct on the printout from the dealer's computer, but hey, I just want it right). -Eric |

Offline | Yeah, I think they do it that way to keep us visiting their pages eight times a day waiting for something to change I just hope we're on the list of people whose production is bumped up a bit... -Eric |
