Offline | I'm not sure about unload/VDC/transporter times, but my MA (Julie at Classic MINI in Cleveland) said to figure one month from the production date. With my prod date of 10/24, that would be the day after tomorrow. Looks like she's going to be right on. (Owner's Lounge says the car is still at the VDC, with an EDD (Estimated Delivery Date) of yesterday.) So, definitely some time this week. I hope. Since Chicago is in the same part of the country, I would imagine the "one month" rule applies to you, too. But call your MA if you can't stand not knowing. My experience with all the various tracking sites and phone numbers is that the person with the most accurate info is your MA. Hang in there! (That's what I keep telling myself, too!) those aren't grey hairs - they're racing stripes! |

Offline | Having just gone through this, my MINI was discharged from WW on 10/25. It arrived at the dealership in San Antonio, Texas on 10/30 (only took a few days for the VDC). Then add in the time to prep the MINI, add any dealer addons, paperwork and you are set! Hope this helps! |

Offline | It looks like my Maxine and your baby will heading in the same direction at the same time. I live in Effingham, (south of you) but I will be taking delivery at Mini of St Louis. I have also been told that a month from production date is usually a good estimate of when it is actually delivered. My MA originally told me it would be the first week of December and it looks like he will be pretty close. Maxine was produced 11/4. So when she's unloaded on the 27th , that would give them 7 days to transport her to St Louis Speaking of transport, does anyone have any idea what truck lines are used to deliver our new arrivals ? I live in a town that has two major interstates going through it and I have never seen a car carrier with Minis aboard. But I have seen many covered BMW transports - Just Wondering Linda ![]() |
