Anybody reading 'En Route'

My Mini just changed to 'En Route' last night, the 29th, bound for the USA. Anyone here with the same? Have you been able to track on the WW site? If so, help.

Take it easy.

If you're "En Route" then you must have your VIN#, which means you can go to the WW site and find out what ship you are on, then find the call sign, then track it across the pond...

If you haven't already you should read through the "Delivery, Shipping and Order Tracking FAQ"

In addition to the links in the FAQ I found the following site useful to track your ship: sailwx.info

I also should mention that depending on your location your MINI may not be on a WW ship in which case their site will be of little use to you. It seems that all East coast deliveries are via WW, but not all West coast deliveries. Not sure if cars bound for Oklahoma (if you bought it locally) come into the East or West coast port.

Even East Coast MINI's are shipped on lines other than WW. My car was shipped to Charleston on a K-Line vessel (bought my car via Classic Mini). Try your VIN on the WW site. If it doesn't work, contact your MA and ask for a Bill of Lading number and the shipper. If it is K-Line you can call their customer service 800 number and get the vessel and voyage information.

I must say that this was the most frustrating period of tracking for my car. It originally showed up on WW's site on one of their vessels. After the vessel sailed it disappeared, and it took a couple of days to get the information from MINI that it had been bumped from WW and loaded onto K-Line. Currently, my car is in the Black Hole known as the VDC...

John

Thanks for the info. I found Abbey's ship on the Coast Guard's site. She's halfway to the states. Woohoo!

Take it easy.
