Offline | Mine was compleated on March 24th too...then it vanished...I'm assuming that means I'm on a K-Line....I can't think of any other reason why it would never appear on WW at all... ![]() |

| Motoring with Audrey | yeah Ken, it's either a K-Line or NYK. I believe I was on a NYK vessel and it only took another 4 days to get here...probably the four days between vessels just sitting at the dock. Best of luck...your MA should know if you are on a vessel or not, so let us know if or when you get a chance to call. |

| Ramblin Man | Debbie and Ken and jeffu, this is what I'm going to do today. First I have to convince my wife that we need to drive down to the dealer (this is going to be the hardest part of my plan). To keep me sane while I wait, I'm going to go to a MINI dealer this morning and buy a cap ![]() ![]() I'm hoping that the MINI log will relieve the MWS (MINI Waiting Syndrome) through some sort of brain wave transfer with direct contact to a MINI product -paul |

Offline | Just looking through the list of those booked on the Resolve - it looks like the ones received at the Terminal on March 24 or earlier are confirmed - if they were received late on the 24th or later, then they are showing waitlisted. Turns out mine actually got to the port on March 25 - so that's why I'm showing waitlisted. I have this feeling that I won't be making this ship either - the next one is the Maersk leaving on April 7th. Really bites - that will put me waiting at the dock in South Hampton for almost 2 weeks - it could have been here in that time. So far it looks like the manufacturing process was the easy piece - they just don't have enough ships coming or enough space. Jeff Ulrich |

Offline | Hey All! So my mini was "born" on March 17, and at the port awaiting a shipping vessel on March 19th. As of today, the 29th, ask MINI still says "awaiting a shipping vessel". The website still says "awaiting transport". My MA knows nothing. I thought he would know if the car had been shipped, but I guess not. I don't come up on the WW site, I'm assuming because the car will be coming to Seattle. Bummer. I guess it's the universe's way of telling me to be patient. yeah- not so much with the patience. I didn't get any of that when they passed it out. |

Offline | Hello! I am awaitng my MINI as well, he was "born" (as you say) on March 3rd and was shipped on the 12th... so, that may give you an indication of how long it may take to get your onto a boat... After that, it's about 22 days from Southampton to the west coast port to the VDC for inspection (where it can take from a couple days to a few weeks to leave, depending on if there was any damage during shipping) then it will be trucked to seattle... I'd say, all in all, you may be looking at an Early May delivery time (but that's just my opinion based on what I have been told). You can call 800-ASK MINI (if you log onto the Owners lounge and have your VIN or production numbers) you give the operator your number and see where your car is and if it has been loaded onto a ship... Until your MINI arrives, you can pass the time in here and reading up on your new investment ![]() Ryane |

Offline | I might just stop checking. I just called ASK MINI and they said they won't give out further information as my car has been released to a carrier and is now the property of the dealership. How did some of you find out that yours had made it to the dock, etc. Is there a secret handshake or something that I haven't been told about ? I e-mailed my MA. It's a slow day and I haven't talked with him in a few weeks. I'm sure he misses me. Tom |

Offline | I guess my car is now booked for the resolve, no wait list, should be one of the first ones on since it just barely missed the last one because its recieved at dock date of the 22nd at 8 pm was just a little bit too late in the day to make it onto to the MB. Is it bad that I have my VIN number memorized? I am hoping to have my mini in 3 weeks from today, that sounds about right if the resolve is supposed to make it to SC on the 12th. |

Offline | Kellzir, if I read that webpage right, is DOES dock on the 2nd, but in Baltimore, not Charleston. It is due to arrive in Charleston on the 4th, according to the site but I hope like heck your MA is right! That would be 2 days less wait! Somehow I think they keep a pretty close eye on days though so I won't hold my breath on those extra 2 days. My mind is geared for the 4th and anything else will be a bigtime bonus. ![]() |

Offline | OK at this point i'm pretty sure i'm being purposefully tortured! I put aside mini2 and motoringfile and gbmini.net and NAM to study for a marketing test (yes, I'm an engineer, but I'm also a business minor)....... get into the classroom a few minutes ago, work through the first fifth or so of the test, and see this: 17. When a person sees a BMW Mini Cooper on the street and realizes what type of car it is, this is an example of: A. Brand Liking B. Brand Purchase C. Brand Recognition D. Brand Loyalty maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, i was so distracted for the rest of that test! I was hoping for one of these answers: E. All of the above! E. Not enough information - need to know color/roof color, whether it has bonnet stripes, and whether it has sport and premium! E. The question is irrelevant - they're MINI Coopers, not BMW Mini Coopers! sigh. Ben |
