Hi everyone, just wanted to tell you all that I am SO PROUD of this enormous thread that I started!

It's not so much the March 2005 Production Group, but really the March 2005 Awaiting-Their-MINI's-Co-Dependency-Support-Group

Got the call from East Bay Mini - I'm picking up my baby on Friday! Unfortunately, it looks like I'm not going to get ANYTHING for my trade-in (they might actually charge me

) but who cares - I'M GETTING A MINI!

Dang....we FINALLY just got "The Call" from our MA a few minutes ago. We are gonna hop a train up to the Windy City (yep, that was Chicago) on wednesday afternoon to pick 'er up. I didn't think (at times) that this day would ever get here!
Hype..I'm guessing yours made it too?? My guess is that the truck didn't make it until today or late last night, but either way we should be good to go.

Hi - Yes, I posted a couple of days ago my status - same as yours - and said I'd be in Chicago on business for a couple days (not crazy) - looking forward to seeing more MINI's - they are all over here. Just had lunch at Miller's, been down at the peer, looks like it might rain. Much busier than rural AZ

I think I see a couple of patterns here -- couples buying two MINIs, I guess this suggests that some folks have issues with sharing.

Also, you'll note that the ladies are willing to wait for exactly what they want, whereas the men need/want immediate gratification, so they buy off the lot. Typical.

Not me...my MA found a car pretty much exactly like what I wanted except it didn't have the heated seats and the anthracite interior...I could have had the car in 3 days...but instead I waited...and waited...and waited...

but the idea of having a car made expecially for me is pretty incredible...
