I finally picked up mine on this past Friday (5/20) and have been having a blast. I put on about 300 miles between Saturday and Sunday, and even squeezed in a rally in town with 59 other MINIs! Wheee!

After almost 6 weeks at sea, the Mini has arrived in Brisbane. Should have it within 2 weeks...

I think it's great you are stalking the ship. makes me feel less crazy for thinking about it. mine's at port going through the vdc process. honestly this last week feels like it is dragging.... arg!

I know there are a few others that are waiting for there mini from Long beech mini, here in Socal. I was wondering if any of them have had similar experiences and how long they have been waiting. I ordered my mini late february and was told two to two and a half months. It took two weeks after it was produced for a ship to pick it up and now although the hudson leader unloaded it may 30th, it is still waiting at the the docks to be taken to the distribution center, a week later. When I call LB mini most of the car salesmen I am connected to ether don't know or don't want to tell much info, for example the name of the ship, which I figured out through this forum. I am curious to know what others experiences with LB mini have been like and when they ordered/received theirs.

I'm in the exact same pickle. ordered late february and was on the hudson leader as well. I think they are reluctant to give a delivery date because they have no way of guaranteeing how long it takes to get through inspection. FAQ says 4 days to as long as 3 weeks from after a ship docks. it is frustrating though! I think with a sure sale like us they don't feel to compelled to cater with information. There is a Pepper White Cooper on my order sheet with a name attached to it. wonder if it is you? did you order 2/25 same day as me? I think you and I and Tessa will all be wrestling for the first delivery time.

I got a call today from LB MINI, my car is here! I can't pick it up until tue. or wed. because they still need to install the driving lamps. I am so excited, I can't believe it's finally hereI You guys should call LB and see if your cars are ready. I think we were all on the same boat. I ordered in mid March, production was done at the end of April and the boat arrived May 28 or 30th. My MA told me it's much easier to pick up the car during the week rather than on a weekend just because of all the people. I hope you guys get your MINIs soon, no more waiting! Keep us posted.

Tessa you are soooooooo lucky, me and Erin ordered ours about a month before you and our MINIs are still stuck at the docks not even sent to the distribution center for final tests. I'm curious how long did you and Erin wait from the time you called them to ordering with them? Also Tessa, Even though I'm a bit jealous, congratulations on your new mini.

what a feeling after such a long wait to go to the dealer and see ya new mini sat there just beggin to be driven.....its a awsome experience

I was feeling ill coz i was SO excited when i arrived at the dealer! I was shaking too.... i hadnt slept a wink of sleep the Friday night

.the sales girl Vicky found it a bit amusing........ but as soon as i got behind the wheel i was beaming from ear to ear and couldnt wait to go!

Ive already done over 200 miles in 2 days and cleaned it twice.....! lol

well after 9 days. my MINI is still @ the port. no guarantee when it will get out, if it's been inspected or not and when I might be able to pick it up. it taunts me a mere 30 miles away and I can't get it. I still have my fingers crossed for 10th or 11th pickup. otherwise I'm into next week since Mini is closed on Sundays.

Tessa any word?

I am so sorry to hear you are still waiting for your car. What's the hold-up? I sure hope you get it soon. The suspense must be killing you! I just got back from picking up my Mini, and she is so beautiful! I will attach pictures soon, if I can figure it out. My experience at LB Mini was great, very smooth and easy. It does take about an hour and a half to two hours to do all the paperwork etc. But the drive home is fantastic, the car handles so well and has so many neat perks that I wasn't aware of, it's just fabulous. I can't wait for you to get yours. Any word from the others that were on our boat?

Still waiting for my car. Of course my MCS has to be trucked up to NorCal. MINIUSA says it'll deliver on the 11th. The dealer says maybe the 10th. I'm hoping he's right. I can't wait!
