Earlier today ASK MINI told me Max started production 03/23 with a completion date of 04/06, unfortunately she could not tell me where in the production line Max was. Is that normal for them not to have any info on where "my baby" is?

The factory tour is amazing! You must do it soon!! I was unable to find anything out about our cars as they could not tell me anything unless I could give them the chassis number. They could not tell from the order number

The recording gives me my production date, but no other specifics. Should I expect to hear the recording give me detailed info about where my Coop is during production, or do I need to ask to speak to a real person? It went into production yesterday (4/1/05) and is scheduled for completion on 4/9/05. Will it be done earlier than that?

Just called ASK MINI and found my scheduled production date is now 4/10, not 4/14 as I'd been told by my dealer. Not that it matters, since we won't be taking delivery 'til after 6/1, anyway, but that's ok.

Is it June yet?

My dealer actually quoted "4 to 6 weeks" which seems insane to me considering what everyone has been saying. This past Wednesday ASK-MINI said a production date of the 15th, and on Friday they said the 13th. Hopefully they keep moving things up. I've never been this anxious and excited for something.

I ordered my MCC end of March so I guess it should be in production for April. Yellow, yellow interior, black roof, sport seats, cruise control.

So glad you enjoyed the tour. Thanks for trying....As you say, not long to wait now - hoping to get a call at the end of this week?? Dealers say they will do a 24 hour turnaround as I've been messed around so much. Let me know if you hear anything about yours soon.

I was just told Max was started yesterday, is in the paint shop today and will be completed tomorrow!!!

What a relief, last Friday I was told by ASK MINI that they couldn't tell me where he was in the production line. I had nightmares all weekend that production had not even started.

My production started on March 30th, so I am hoping for as quick a completion as you say. Funny how I want to hurry up to wait some more. If oyu get any more detailed info, please post. it looks like our cars are probably back-to-back on the production line!

If you were'nt talking to me, keep me posted too. I was started on the 30th as well. I ordered a drop-top so I don't know if they get made on the same line or a sister line (and I don't know if you ordered a drop-top either).

Anyway, Ask Mini (automated response) says I'm in production with April 9th to complete.

Just noticed you are a soon to be convertible owner also. I don't know about you, but this wait is extremely painful. Every time I talk with a real person at ASK MINI, they tell me they can feel my pain. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to speed up the production process.

Don't think you'll get much more than that. Mine is due to be completed on April 9th. I called today and they couldn't tell me where it was in the production line (or they wouldn't tell me).

Hi again from the March group.

Just wanted to share how fast things can move: I ordered my MCSCa on 3/14 and got THE CALL tonight. Yes, it took from 3/2 to 4/6! Build was completed on 3/21.

Good luck, hope some of you get a car that quickly.

. I've been following the March group in hopes of learning all about this process. You guys are great over there, a real MINI family. I think I read that you are taking delivery Sunday of you LY MCSCa. Congrats!!!

I just found out from my nightly call to ASK MINI that my PS MCSCa has made it through the paint and body shop and is now in assembly.

I was prematurely elated due to the rep I spoke with last night saying that Max would be completed today.

However I am grateful I am this far along.
