Offline | I called ASKMINI this morning, and the car's done! Hoping to get a quick ship. Any ideas, since my car's coming to New Mexico if the port would be Charleston or Port Hueneme? |

Offline | Me too! My car is completed as well and is awaiting transort I guess. I am going to try and contact K-Line as I am striking out at the WW website. It will be interesting to see if our Coops ar on the same transport being that your in N.M and I am in CA. Keep posting if you get info. I'll do the same. ![]() |

| Are we there yet??? | Thanks I finished production on the 6th, and showed up on the W&W site today. The booking # for the Charleston portion is GBSOU307478. I can't remember where you are, but you can look at this # to see if maybe you are there, it shows 176 MINIs. Hopefully you will find yours. ![]() |

| Are we there yet??? | ThomB Unfortunately, Charleston is the third stop. I'm not sure which port Ohio deliveries are taken to. You might want to check on the March production forum, it seems like there was someone from Ohio on there, and they could tell you definitely. You can also take a look at the booking # for the Charleston portion to see if you are on there. GBSOU307478. Look forward to sailing with you. ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Maybe it's Baltimore? I just tried to see where I could enter that number on the W&W page but couldn't. When I spoke to AskMini (which is in Columbus, Oh just south of me), they said I'd probably be offloaded in NJ. The automated attendant still says I'm in the Paint Shop (and I think all of the ask mini reps are sick of hearing from me). I wonder if they do a call tracking software in that call center. I bet it's a funny thing if they did log each and every call. Then again it looks like there is a stop in Baltimore. Last edited by ThomB : Apr 8th, 2005 at 05:30 PM. Reason: Stops? |

| Are we there yet??? | You might want to try this... From the W&W home page, move your cursor over "Customer Centre" then click on "Cargo Tracking" from the drop down menu. On the right you have the option of how you want to track, just click booking # and enter GBSOU307478. You will see all the Vin #s for Charleston. If you are going to NJ, you will have a different booking #. Hope this helps. |

Offline | No dice so far on the NM Mini. I don't know if I go to Charleston or CA - obviously I'd prefer Charleston, since it's faster. The quickest boat to Port Hueneme arrives in May! I am hoping there's a 3 day lag (as mentioned earlier) and then the car is loaded. In that case, perhaps I'll get the Liberty. naparsei |

| MINI2 Regular | I've officially got the message that the car is complete. The automated attendant tells me that the car is awaiting release to the carrier. I'm hoping to make this boat that you're all speaking of. I'd guess that my location will allow for an earlier docking point than most (NE Ohio). Now the wait through the weekend to see if anything happens... We're over 1/2 way there.... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Offline | At last, a home in the April thread! Whoops - I had started a May thread, since my car's supposed to be delivered to me in May... but it turns out I need to be here in this thread! About my MINI: - Name: Ramses (it just fits; dunno why) - Ordered: Mar 1 - Started Production: April 1 (my birthday - what an awesome present) - Finished Production: April 9 (just called today; it's "complete and awaiting release to carrier." Woo!) - Stats: Chili Red MCS Convertible, black top Most option packages (convenience, cold weather, several others) Ipod adaptor Nav System 17" wheels (wish I could remember the exact type) White bonnet stripes I put my number into the WW site, but no info yet. I'm hoping from what I've read here, I'll be able to find it in a couple days. I'm so looking forward to hitting the streets of Austin in my new car this summer!! I also need to go to the MINI site and order me a nice baseball cap to keep my hair from turning into dreadlocks when I drive with the top down. ![]() EDITED to add: I went to the MINI gear store, and not only did I buy a girls' Tee for me, a guys' Tee for my husband, a baseball cap for me, but I bought a red/white purse to match my car! Am I sad or WHAT? lol! I justified the price of the totebag by telling myself what a fun conversation piece it will be to have bought a car with a matching purse. ![]() Last edited by elderberries : Apr 9th, 2005 at 11:01 PM. Offline | Hey there from the March builds! I've heard everything from a 1-2 day lag to a 5 day more more lag for it to get loaded. Mine took 5 days to get from MINI to Southampton for some reason..but I think that was a little unusual..but it did mean I missed a boat ![]() Just keep checking the WW site..especially on the day they get loaded... good luck!! | MINI2 Regular | I'm booked... "SideCar" is on the "TAKASAGO" (My uncle said when I want to ride my BMW R1100RS and Diane wants to be in the car, we can get a big C-clamp and put them together, so "SideCar" it is.) The booking number is the same as above. It says the destination is Charleston, but I think mine will exit further North (if that happens) HOPEFUL am I. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
