Hi Kenny,
The brake kit weight is 26kg,as for delivery time it would be delivered the next working day (monday to friday)

I am very interested in the Brake Kit. I would just like to know, if I was to fit the brakes my self, would this effect the warranty in anyway?

Hi Del Boy,thanks for your enquiry-as long as the kit is correctly fitted it won"t affect your warranty as the kit is endorsed by BMW/MINI and is a genuine part.If you did want it fitting,the fitting cost would be £260 inc. as it involves 4 hours of labour including bleeding the brakes,best wishes.

Hi Damo,
Hope all is well
The R56 JCW brake kit is in preparation and it will have 16 inch drilled front discs,
i should be able to order in jan 07 and the kit should be around £650.00
there will also be 16 inch drilled discs available to order as a retro fit onto standard Cooper S R56 models for around £135.00 the pair, i don't list the part numbers for fitment onto R50 models

You sure thats right! Even GT Tunings Porsche brakes are 341 mm!!

Yeah i thought that,they are big brakes,but i have a JCW brochure with this disc size listed as a future option for the S,

Just looked at the brochure.

Does say 16-inch perforated brake discs.

Sub note states that Calipers are painted red but otherwise identical to the calipers featured as standard in MINI Cooper S sport brakes.

Sport brakes? Surely means the standard Cooper S brakes for the R56. Bit of a con for red paint

Should mean the discs will be compatible with the old JCW brake kit...
