just to say rather than sort out shipping etc.. i asked my local BMW parts guy if he'd match this offer and did! so i'm getting it all fitted locally for £785

something to bear in mind if you're considering this fine offer!

when fitting the jcw brake kit abviously the brakes need to be bled.

Does the brake fluid remain as dot 4 or is a 5.1 upgrade required??

Hi Ben,
The Brake fluid is not upgaded you still use DOT 4

Just like to say nice one!!

Put the order in for a set of JCW brakes on Friday PM and the delivery guy was knocking on my door first thing this morning.

Apparently Carlsberg don't do mail order, but if they did, this would be it!

Will the R56 JCW brakes fit an R53 mini (I’ve got a 04 MCS)?

Also will production be stopping on the R53 JCW brake kits\JCW engine upgrades?

Hi James,
The R56 Brakes will not fit the R53,
The JCW engine kits and brakes for the R53 are available to order,not had any news on production being stopped

Guys,
The kit part numbers and even the seperate part numbers are different from the R56 AND R53 models, remember your brakes need to stop your high performance car !!!!!, don't start changing and trying systems on your cars if they are not made and listed for your model,it is not worth the risk
