How much do you charge for colour coding an aerokit+arches? Do you colour code the arches on the car or do you use new ones?

Hi
The spot lamp covers are £9.95 a pair,i have them in stock
If you want to fit the jcw trims to a standard exhaust you need to file down the raised sections inside the trim to make them fit onto the pipe, also when you put them on a standard exhaust they dont fit very well and tend to point down so you have a hugh gap at the top of the trims between the bumper,so if i were you i would leave the trims, i have seen a thread on here for the larger trims that were available in the US, these looked like they were a better fit if you just need the exhaust to look a bit better than the standard trims
hope this helps

That's what I'd like to know too. Have always wondered if people have the arches replaced, or painted ..

Hi
We re paint the bumper and arch trims, unless there are any scatches or bad marks in the trims we would paint a new one,it works out a lot cheaper than trying to repair them

Hi Chris,

I've just bought my first R53 05 MCS in Hyper Blue.
Can you please give me a price on the aero kit for both bumpers and side skirts for a model with the rear PDC ?

Can you also give me a price for shipping to Portsmouth and an estimate on the cost of having it fully colour coded?

Is it possible to have the full colour coding applied afterwards or would you recommend it done at the same time?

Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,
The full aero kit would be £920 inc postage, delivery takes around 4 to 6 weeks from BMW,
i would have the car colour coded when you fit the aero kit then youo can strip all the arch trims off and have them re painted at the same time as the aero kit, with colour coding they would probably re paint the aero kit as not to show any mask marks when re paining the black edges,
the other option would be is to order a primed aero kit and have that painted together with your arch trims, you will save quite a bit of money, i can supply a primed kit for £700 inc postage,
delivery for the primed kit would be 5 to 7 days,
There is a lot of work involved painting the arch trims,as they are very flexy and require plastic primers and a lot of paint to make sure the finish is as smooth as the cars body panels, the aero kit parts are easy to paint, you should be looking at between £300 to £400 to have it all painted depending on your paint shops near you

hope this helps

oh sweet! so i dont need to get it colour changed?

Also, i heard that just put on with adhesive? if not, and it follows a more complicated procedure of assembly, how much would it cost to get my local dealer to assemble it? or is it a different price for each dealer (probably an extremely newbie question sorry)

It is held on with super strength glue, i fitted mine myself one evening, simple enough job matey, clean roof, dollop glue onto spoiler, spread it out with provided spreader :P and then place where required, then hold for about 45 minutes, thats the boring bit, make sure u scrape off the excess glue before it dries too!
