HI,
The aero skirts are about 15 mm deeper than the standard sill covers so it does make the car look lower

Hi Chris

If I had these fit to my Cooper S would it be possible to take off my current S sill plates and fit them onto the side skirts?

If so would there be an extra charge for this?

Hi
Yes you can fit the alloy sill plates on aero side skirts, they cost £51.00 a pair inc vat and discount, you will have to fit new one's as they don't come off very well and are easily bent out of shape
Cheers

Would these fit on a R56? And do you happen to have a picture of this kit? I know there has been mistakes because there are two kits out there, aero & jcw aero and they differ a bit. thanks in advance!

Hi The R50 skirts will not fit the R56 ,
The r56 kit to have is the JCW aero kit, it looks far better than the factory kit,
see pics of the JCW aero kit below,
Cheers

Alright, thanks for the info. Should I contact the local bmw dealer for these side skirts? Or do you guys on the board have any contacts?

Did you fit your own kit and if so was it easy or do you recomend having it fitted

Bought JCW sills plates and carbon fibre harness slots of Chris. Easy to talk to, knows what he's selling and efficient. Definitely going back to him.

Local dealership quoted me £165 for sill plates which didn't seem right, it hasn't been the 1st time they have done this............... MUPPETS.

Big thanks to Chris

They are easy enough to fit... just a couple of screws and poppers. Make sure you get the poppers and grills with the skirts. Grills break.I didn't know about the griils until I went home. I ordered them and once again local dealership messed this order up by ordering in just one .Though on the phone they told me they had 2, waste of a 40 mile round trip.

There are instructions on MotoringFile | MINI Cooper news, reviews and opinion.

On my way to 240
