Offline | I'm possibly interested. Could I fit the exhaust myself (my dad is a qualified mechanic even though he isn't one now), and would I be able to fit and use it without the dealer computer. Now, I understand that it does something to the sound, so would it still work on my one. If it comes to it I can provide you with a cooper vin number. I was just wondering how much it would be because I need to work out how much i need to earn Still, if it is reasonable, I'll put it at number 2 on my list.I don't want the engine upgrade as I don't want to increase the power output. What effect will this have on my fuel economy? Would I get the same sound as is on the mini website even though I have a one? Thanks a lot. |

Offline | Hi You can order the JCW exhaust as a seperate part, this would cost £340.00 inc vat and discount, the main difference in the full kit is a new air induction kit and re map and above 4,000 rpm they is another intake on the JCW filter kit that open so it drags in more air friom the top scuttle grille, this makes a great noise inside the car and also gives the car a bit more at higher rev,s but if you don't want the full kit the exhaust will sound nice, not to loud so it is still nice on the motorway but sounds a lot better than stock Hope this helps Chris |

Offline | Would it sound good at low revs - I never go above 2500 unless I'm in 5th. Would there be a noticeable difference inside the car without the remap etc. Just out of interest, how much would fitting be? Thanks .Last edited by M.O.S : Jun 17th, 2008 at 08:00 AM. |
