What is your best price for parts only including vat, and postage. Is the kit easy to fit?? Will it invalidate my warrenty and tlc if i fit it to a one??

Hi Alicsone,thanks for your enquiry,the price for the kit alone is £465 +vat and postage would be £40 + vat due to the size and weight of the item.It takes just over an hour to fit-it could be fitted by yourself but it would need the engine software to be remapped by a dealer,best wishes.Forgot to mention that the kit is an approved fitted accessory so it will not affect your warranty or TLC package.

Hi ,
I can order the JCW Filter kit seperatly and supply this for £220.00 inc VAT,
this would take about half an hour to fit and them we would need to re-program the car

Whats the Insurance impact of this mod.

Is there any official BHP increase?

I think i've decided on this mod but it all hangs with the insurance company.

Finally, can you fix a warranty claim on my car at the same time when i book it in?

As an upgrade on the cars spec you would need to notify your insurance company,as for your warranty issue this would depend on the fault with your car

When I was phoning around getting quotes I spoke to a few North West dealers. One conversation went like this. "I wonder if you could give me a quote for supply and fit of a JCW Soundkit?".....Silence....."Um sorry mate but JCW don't do a stereo upgrade". Thank god I found the guys at Woodmans.

I see you've already found the soundkit register. Quite a lot of talk about getting insurance companies to understand what a soundkit is in there. My premium went up about £35. Description reads somthing like Stainless steel performance exhaust, performance air filter, engine management modification. JCW do not claim any bhp increase so this helps.

Really sorry mate, Insurance company (Admiral) will not insure the Re-Map. They will do the Exhaust and Filter though.

They insist the remap increases the BHP too. So i'll have to put this on hold till i renew my insurance.

i think the only thing the map does is tells the flap on the jcw box to open at a set rpm. plus the map is undetectable so dont bother telling them
