I have a GP with JCW exhaust and of course it has the flat bit to suit the cab.

Is it possible to buy the back 2 boxes complete with the Y piece up to the joint for the resonator WITHOUT the flat bit.

I have been going down the tuning route and have the John Cooper Motorsport 4 2 1 manifold and sports cat (the Resonator gets cut out). We feel that the flat bit is an extra restriction as I have an exhaust back pressure of 3.5 PSI and have been looking at ways of getting rid of the flat bit.

Price delivered please - if it is available.

does fitting the JCW exhaust invalidate the tlc or tlc xl service package or is it ok as it is an approved part, JCW being a BMW partner ?

Everything would be fine,you have nothing to worry about as they are JCW gennuine parts

I am also interested in buying just this part of the exhaust (+tips) as I would prefer a straight through centre section without the resonator. I was devastated when I missed exactly that brand new by £5 on ebay last week .

Could you please give me a price?

The JCW exhaust is the same you would have in the engine upgarde kit or fitted to a GP,
and only lists the centre box with resonator and the Y 2 peice rear silencers with the flat section,
the total price inc postage would be £595.00 inc vat and discount

But if your a Works / GP owner and the baffles in just the back box go surely you can just buy the following using just the part numbers (+ see attachment)?

Tried the R56 JCW trims on, they are to big,the inside diameter is around 5mm over size on the works exhaust and the pipes are to close as well so if they would fit they would touch in the centre , so its a no go i am afraid
