hi ive been doin some searches on here and i have plumbed my catch can in now prob 3 weeks ago and its still not caught anything other than some water vapour by the looks of things. ive been searching and there seems to be problems and different plumbing in guides to get these to work properly mine is a 53 plate cooper s ive made a custom bracket and mounted it down by the ground strap i just want some 1 to clear up how it should be plumbed in as the instructions i follewed doesnt seem to be working please can some 1 help thanks

not catching anything sounds like normal behaviour for most catch cans.

unless you are driving at the upper rev range for long stints you are unlikely to induce a "oil blowover"

There was a lengthy post here recently that went into catch can effectiveness or maybe was over at NAM.

this maybe well stupid but what NAM ive looked through all the posts and threads on here and there are a couple of different diagrams etc and people having problems so just wondered if that was all cleared up now and there was a deffinate way to plumb it in cus the instructions way dnt seem to be doing alot
