i thought i saw something underneath that rubber, but i guess i made a mistake. So it makes no diff at all if i leave that rubber strip? just aesthetics?

is it really that noticeable? the whistle from the throttle body, that is...

P.S: i doubt very much that i'll get sick of the noise.

Not removing it, just going to mod it a bit to make it quieter. "smaller element and put the wall back in" haven't done it yet.

how long should it take to recieve the CAI from ALTA in america? i sent the money on Thurs the 13th Oct, in the morning by wire transfer

Well, if it wasn't for the delays with Customs at the moment, you should expect it in 1-2 weeks once your money has cleared. But I reckon it might take a bit longer at the moment.

Really? What is the cause of the delays with customs? And how much longer do you reckon it'll take?
