Offline | Alta Tuning advice I just completed my State 1: Tuning for my Cooper S 2005 - Alta CAI - Alta 15% Pulley - Alta Exhaust I am thinking of remaping my ECU to reach maximum performance of the following modification. Any advice on ECU modification (software remap) which tuning house doest it? If I want to increase oil ignition power, which one should I use and how many CC for each head? |

Offline | With my 2005 Cooper S Manual transamition. I can feel the acceleration of the car improvement during 40 KM/H to 100 KM/H in 2nd gear / 3rd gear (at approx 4.5K to 5K RPM) The Alta Exhaust does a good job at high speed 140Km/h up to 180 Km/h. And the sound wasn't that loud compare to my previous "Play MINI" Exhaust. (I took Play MINI Exhaust off because of the noise) I don't feel much different after install Alta CAI. (First modification I did) Overall; the performance does increase to around 10% to 15%. I plan to take my car for a Dyno test next week. To see increase in HP. Next step is to increase performance around Ignition System. |

Offline | I recommend the Evotech reflash. They tailor it to your car mods and it can be changed as you add further mods. Added 20Hp [+178 US wheel horsepower] and lots torque to my '05 MCS. PM me for an email of my dno chart [file is too big for posting]. |
