Is it a new MINI with JCW just fitted from when yo pick it up or a conversion on an already run in car?

If its new then as Max said you need to run in as instructed in the handbook, not taking the revs over 4500 for the first X amount of miles

If its a conversion of a run in car, your dealer will recommend that you don't push it hard for a few hundred miles, just to let the new head settle in, vary the revs, but no high reving. I think it was about 500 miles, but you dealer will confirm this for you

does the JCW run on premium or standard octane petrol?
