Offline | More power beyond JCW 210? Whats the considered opinion on getting more wheel HP after JCW is installed? I've read one thread about headers and a different map. One tuner I talked to recommended the GRS IC, and 2% lightweight crank pulley and to NOT touch the JCW software. Anybody else? ![]() |

Offline | there are tons of mods can be added to 210 JCW, header is extrmely helpful, large IC is not as high C/P as header, and depend on where you live. If you don't have very high temp weather, or racing your car, you can consider that later. large TB (mine is 63mm) is also a good choice for quicker response, different map is a very subjective thing, I tried JCW 200bhp , JCW 210bhp, MTH, and now Chiptronic. The reason I stuck with Chiptronic because they can fine tune the map several times free of charge base on my setting. All maps has different performance/feeling, you want smoothness or explosiveness? BTW, don't pay all your intention to power gain, drivetrain mods, brake, suspension, etc, are all equally important to match the power, enjoy your ride. Paul |

Offline | Power to weight ration Rip out the interior, except for the drivers seat. Install a roll cage. You gain some weight there, but it should be offset by losing the other seats, the stereo, the dash, the other seats, etc. Pull up the carpeting. Throw it out. Put blocks of carbon dioxide ice on all metal surfaces. Leave them there for a bit and then slam them with a rubber mallet. This will dislodge the sound deadening. At this point, I think you get it. WIth 210 hp, you shouldl be thinking about losing weight, not gaining HP. |
