Offline | So what was you getting with the 210 West Tuning package? As you can see I have the West Tuning 260 package and I got 263 on the dyno. Be carefull with the dyno's there are a lot of miss calculated results due to the dyno not being performed in the correct manner... |

| 8/10 on the Stoogometer | How much would it cost from a BM dealer? (don't i need a JCW number or something?) Which american shop can i get them from? Elie PS. I dunno about which pulley to get yet. I've read on randy webb's site that the 15% is the most reliable but no one can give me an indication as to the power/torque/etc differences between the 15 and 17% pulleys, and reliability issues as well. |

| 8/10 on the Stoogometer | hmm, yeh see that's one of my problems. The only problem i've heard with a 17% pulley is with a guy that didn't fit a proper belt, but randy webb says that the 15% pulley is the most reliable, and it doesn't require a new belt. He also says that Alta is the best one to get. But i speak to a guy that has a 17% pulley, and he says his car is a rocket. Elie |

Offline | Yeah a 15% is the safest route. I think the ProMini pulley is every bit as good as the Alta. To be honest you couldnt class a Mini as a rocket. A nice fun car yes but a rocket no. |

Offline | Power difference isnt huge, there has been some good dyno comparisons over on NAM showing good torque increases when running the 19%. Power comes on 500-1000rpm earlier. If your worried about reliability and not able to do the work yourself if something goes wrong? just do the 15% |

Offline | Very expensive if you have to pay labour & BMW Australia prices for the charger I just replaced mine with a UK Ebay unit and total cost including freight was under $500Aus doing my own labour.I havnt had any belt issues with the 19% it looked like brand new after a few thousands K's. Sorry for the hi-jack of this thread... we better get back on topic. |
