Hi Clinton, yes it only takes one turnip wedged up the exhaust to murder all the power.
Good luck!

I had my JCW car dyno'd last year and it made 187bhp. However upon checking my dealer hadn't installed the JCW ecu programme so I was still running on the standard Cooper S ecu!!

Not had it dyno'd since, but with the JCW ecu and now the uprated airbox, I'd hope to make over 200bhp!

So are you saying that the Miltek was costing you some power?

maybe, tho I don't see how roland is using the std'ish exhaust to over 270bhp with no problems if thats the case? surely the milltek will be more free flowing than the std exhaust modded??

unless i've got it all wrong

Nothing wrong with my Miltek manifold although apparently the spirit 4 exit I have is restricting things a touch...

Milltek manifolds are good.it's the cat-back (where the gases split ,that seems to be restrictive.). I too have a dual exit (2.50 " splitting into 2 X 1.75 " exits).an exellent result compared to the MILLTEK cat - back .

are the MCS's with 240+ bhp trickier to handle (torque steer, etc) ? When does it start to get unmanageable?
