| Black Cat Owner | Hi, I have a 2004 MINI Cooper, I have swapped my Cooper Hood to a Cooper S hood, now i am wondering, what is it that I could do to use the vent ? I hear that More Air = More Power, More Cold Air = Even More Power Is the above formula correct ? If so, what do you recommend ? Suggest ? I have planned to purchase the following in the next few days, Remus Cat-Back Exhaust (Dual Tip) ( $250 ) K&N Air Intake Kit ( $140 ) Am I expecting deep-exhaust-noise after installing these two items ? Please share you'r experience |

| hey lightbulb head.... | yes the cooper s bonnet (hood) will increse airflow to the engine, and yes the cooler denser the air into the intake, the better the performance! you can make a air duct to the filter from the underside of the scoop but there isnt much room so the air inlet behind the scoop has to be very narrow if you are making one! the sound of an induction kit and exhaust on the mini is something that never fails to put a smile on my face! ![]() |
