Where the hell is the vacume pipe in the engine bay for the t piece of a boost guage?

a photo or drawing would be very nice I cannot find any exact answer on the fourum showing which pipe to tap into.

The vacum hose comes from the fuel regulator on the fuel rail to the l/h side of the inlet manifold, it is hard plastic about 2.5mm thick!

Here's a quick picture I took while installing Andy's VGS.

The 1 shows the Fuel Pressure Regulator(FPR)

The 2 shows the hose you need to plug in... I suggest you get a little hose from your local car store, and that you don't cut that stock FPR hose.. Just unplug it from the under the FPR, and connect it to one end of the "T" fitting... The extra hose you bought will then connect to the FPR and your Boost Gauge should come with and extra hose to hook up your boost guage to that "T" fitting. At the left of the "T" fitting, you can see the FPR hose connected... It has a 90degrees end, which makes it easier to plug it to the FPR...

EDIT : this picture is with the intercooler removed... which make the whole install a lot easier, and it only adds about 10 minutes to the install time!
Also, the "T" fitting on this picture is for the VGS, at that time, I didn't have the boost gauge yet. But it was a very easy job to add it to the VGS! (thanks again Andy for that awesome mod! lol)

No, it shouldn't affect fuel economy at all...
