Injectors

Hello all.

What's the size of original injector of mini cooper s and mini cooper/one?

Does anybody know?

JCW injector has 380cc, it's that enaugh for 250hp?

Are any other injectors better then JCW?

And what the boost of fuel pump? 3bars? Maybe more?

Thanks boys.

Standard S injectors are 340cc from my understanding. 380cc should be enough for 250hp although could be close to the border line.

I don't agree with you extreem i reckon 380cc are good for 270hp maybe more(if you can get that far with the charger), i only think this because my 380s are nowhere near max out and im running 255bhp i know this as i can make it very rich at 7000rpm using the unichip!

I think that the standard ones maybe ok at the 240/250hp levels.

please correct me if im wrong mate!

Hi Ricky, I didnt say they are to small just that they COULD be close to border line. Just going on what I have read over on NAM. Guys like SpiderX etc found that the 380's were not doing the job. I think he is around the 250 mark. I purchased his 380's when he went to 400's.

But you're probably right, I didnt get any performance increase going from stock to the 380's either.

John.

Here is the site to plug in your info to find out what size of injectors you need.

Tuning is critical, you can't just drop in huge injectors and have the car run correctly. You will need some form of fuel management to make it run correctly.

Also, stay away from "RE-WORKED" injectors

I have seen the mods on spiders car, there is no way he is even close to 250whp. Please tell spider to pm me over here.. Thanks, I haven't talked to him in quite some time.
