Thumbs up Lohen LCS1 Performance Package just fitted.

I'm now officially lohened

Just got back from Superchips after having remap on their rollers to get the best out the Lohen kit.

Got to say I'm very impressed with the end results. Lots more power now and the fuel economy was impressive too even after caning it on the way home.

The dyno results showed it was putting out 210 Bhp, but I'm not bothered about bhp figures to be honest, it feels much improved and great to drive and thats all that matters.

As usual the service from lohen and James Watt Automotive (who do the fitting for Lohen) was top notch as was the work carried out by Superchips.

The kit gets a big thumbs up from me and a big thank you has to go to Nick and Andrey at Lohen.

Hi Woodsy

I live in Derby and am looking for a suitable company to upgrade my MCS.

I happened to be in Dorset a couple of weeks ago and popped in to see GTT. I was very impressed with their expertise and knowledge. Downside is they are so far away.

Only just found info on Lohen. Can you give me more? I notice on their website they only quote 185bhp for the LCS1. Did you do anything different to get to 210?

Thanks,

Ross.

Hi Ross,

We have now altered our packages, which includes a new version remap for both our LCS1 and LCS2 packages. The original figures advertised were development estimates.

Our LCS1 package is now 205bhp for £395 inc.vat
Our LCS2 package is now 220bhp for £1750 inc.vat

For these prices, especially the LCS2, you recieve many high quality parts from some of the best manufacturers in the UK, something which other packages struggle to do. This is something that we take into account, the end figure is not always what performance packages are about, its also the feel of the car, the benefits and getting more parts for your money.

Happy you like the package Mark!

Cheers,
Nick

Thanks for the info. Do you change the idler pulley (or offer this as an option) as some other tuners do?

I am very interested in the LCS1 package at this stage.

Thanks,

Ross.

Hi Ross

As stated by Lohen above the 185bhp figure was an estimate, but I do have a Blue Flame exhaust as well which helps a bit.

There is quite a jump in price there between the two kits. £1,355 seems a lot for an extra 15bhp.

What's the difference between the two kits?

The pricey bits: intercooler, manifold and catback, I think....

Unfortunately for all, the power gains become more and more expensive as you get more of it. There are two main parts to the cost of the kit:

1. Parts - in the LCS2 we have added a manifold, intercooler, cat back exhaust and induction kit. Not the cheapest items.
2. Labour - More parts means more time to fit the parts hence more cost

However all of these parts are fairly straight forward to fit so you could do them at home once you have the LCS1 package installed.

'tis cheap! £580 fitted is an absolute steal! and just 5bhp less than a £3500 JCW conversion.

Lies need defending all the time. The truth defends itself.
