Have got a minisport front upper strut brace and have had the GT tuning induction kit in boot of mini for few weeks and havent got round to fitting as of yet - will be doing so tomorrow.

Anyway, just read a post saying that it didnt fit with the strut brace on there

and i dont really want to mess about with modding the gt tuning kit, so has anyone got strut brace (esp minisport one) with gt tuning kit fitted?

or any strut brace fitted? did it fit ok?

right done some research and loked at my mini, it wont fit

from pics i have seen the gtt and alta one both the air box metal thing run level up to the window rubber at the back of the engine bay.

My strut brace i would say is around an inch below that rubber line.

So im selling the gt induction kit as i dont want to mod it - see for sale section if you want to buy it.

has anyone got any other induction kits that they have or can think of that wont have the air box runing up to the ruubber sealing at the back of the engine bay so my strut brace wont get in its way,

Hi Guys,the good news is we can mod (neatly & professionally) the GTT Induction kit
to fit with ANY strutbrace. However as there are many strutbraces that require a cutout of varying depth & width ,this cutout needs to be customised to your car. We can do the mod in one of two ways ;- Either bring the car and strutbrace in (£25+vat), or send the induction to us with the cutout position/depth accuratly marked out in marker pen (£20+vat plus postage).
We are able to offer the Induction kit already modded for the JCW brace as is the most popular. This only adds £10 to the price as is done at production stage. Hope this helps.
