Lee, I've got the same k&n typhoon that went on my 04 ONE, and is now on my 05 cooper.
It does fit.

as for whether they'll fit you ever thought about maybe doing a "SEARCH"??

posting the same question 600 times aint gonna get you know where

i've just visited a few pipercross websites for the concerned and they don't mention different filters for different model years, hope that helps you out

best way is to try and fit it tho, you'll soon find out if it fits or not
