Why Injectors?

If the stock injectors provide adequate F/A ratio then what is to be gained by putting in larger injectors? Seems the A/F ratio will be the same regardless of injector size.

If due to engine modification (more boost?) the stock injectors become inadequate, how will one know?

In the event that the injectors are inadequate does the ECU prevent a leaned out condition - say by throttling back with subsequent HP loss?

Finally, at what point with respect to engine modification will larger injectors become necessary?

Roland is prolly gonna be the best to answer this as he's done quite a bit of testing with different injectors and wideband sensors

only thing I can tell you is the standard injectors cope upto about 250/260bhp then after that it starts to lean out top end and bigger injectors are needed
