Air Induction Kits

I'm after an induction kit for my Cooper and I aint sure which one to go for. I've seen the Pipercross ones, but there's a few different models. Obviously the more expensive, the better they are but I don't want to break the bank, say around £100.
There's cheapo ones for £40 or £50 on Ebay, are they rubbish?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Martyn

If you have a cooper just get a panel filter;I have had a cone filter and although you get a very loud induction noise its actually worse for the engine because it runs too rich. You need to get a remap before adding a cone filter.

I went back to a panel filter last week, car is actually quicker, free reving and I guess 99 octane helps too.

Panel filter just means replacing the standard element with in the standard airbox. If you have already got a remap then car shouldnt run rich although it depends on what remp you have, If you have MTH remap then you will need to get yout tuner file updated.

Ahaa. I've got the Bluefin remap, it also came with a free K&N air filter.
