Hi there,
is there another supplier beside Dullinger Performance (Germany) that offers a turbo conversion for the cooper ?

Mini-Mania in the US suggests on their website that a turbocharger kit is in development and available "Soon", but I haven't heard of any other kit out there yet. I'm waiting eagerly...

damn i am also waiting for this turbo kit.

I asked for more information about the turbo kit of Dullinger but not answer......ggrrrr...

I assume you guys have been researching the whole issue and I was wondering how you're gonna' get the compression down from the stock 10.6:1?

It seems like the free-revving nature of the engine would lend itself well to a turbo. I'm anxious to see where you guys go with it.

Hi,

well I talked to Dulling (by the way some folks in the german forum really dont speak too positive about them). They kit includes a set of forged pistons (also to reduce the compresion I believe), new motor electronics, intercooler, piping, filters etc. They work with a pressure of just aprox. 0,8 bar to get the 185 horses -> 6000 Euro/US$ including all. Lead time 4-6 weeks, installation aprox. 1 week incl. TÜV aproval etc. Breaks stay original.

But does an othe solution exist to obtain more horses/couple but the turbo ?!?!
