Exclamation NEW! Lohen 64mm Throttle body now available

The Lohen 64mm Throttle body is designed and built in-house and is the largest throttle body available on the market to date. This is 64mm straight through and doesn't narrow to a smaller diameter in the centre like others on the market. We precision machine the larger diameter and machine and cut a new butterfly to suit for a perfect fit. The surface of the throttle body is smoothed for maximum air flow. The throttle body is finished off with a custom end cover. Our throttle body comes with an additional option of a machined knife-edged butterfly. Available for Cooper S with One/Cooper to follow soon.

The price is £320 inc.vat on an exchange basis.

What benefits would I see on my Cooper s (BBR 19% pulley etc).

I take it this is a good stealthy mod- ideal for warranty holding works drivers etc.

As a bolt on item on its own you would expect to see around a 5-10bhp improvement. As you are running more boost, it becomes even more important to have a good supply of air so you can expext to see more as other parts are added. In that case it is difficult to say the exact amount without getting your car on a dyno.

To get the most from it as always a remap will help too although not a necessity.

Stealth wise, it is fairly well buried in the engine bay so you would have to have a keen eye to notice that the end cap doesn't have a metal band around it. To know that it is larger you would have to take it off and measure it. So it is a very good warranty dodger!
