England JCW Exhaust - Mini Cooper

Alright everybody,

Has anyone recently had a quote for a JCW exhaust system for a MCooper? Not interested in the kit, just an exhaust. The Sound Kit seems to be overpriced for the package in my opinion.

Any price for parts and labour out there?

Thanks

My brother looked in to this... If I remember correctly the exhaust alone is £470.

Thumbs down

Wow that is excessive for a cat back.

That must be with fitting and VAT included? Did he source that from a dealer or JCW themselves?

Yeah?

Saw them on ebay. Do you have one on your car? Any available sound clips?

Well a JCW Motorsport Exhaust that looks identical to the sound kit exhaust is £242.11 +VAT for the backbox and the intermediate pipe is £98.32 + VAT

= £400 inc

It was acceptable in the 80's

I don't think that's the same exhaust as the one on the Cooper Sound Kit.

The BMW Mini sports exhaust for One's and Cooper's was £400, and the JCW my brother was considering came to £470 (inc vat, but not fitting)

Well I can only tell you what I know. The sound kit exhaust looks identical to the motorsport exhaust fitted to my Cooper Works (132BHP version). The BMW sports exhaust has a different tailpipe and was fitted to the later, lower power, Cooper Works(122BHP).

I got the prices from JCW themselves as the exhaust on my Works started rattling.

Part Numbers: JCW111 (Exhaust)
JCW80 (Intermediate Pipe)

It was acceptable in the 80's

You argue your case well Mr Root Ginge; great news to hear that it won't be so expensive, possibly.

I will have to give them a call

Great feedback, Thanks

£400 for the exhaust on its own

I got a price for the Sound kit fitted and I think it was £645, might as well go for the full kit, and you could always sell the badges if you wanted to recover £100

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?
