Hi,

Has anyone fitted an entire PlayMINI exhaust system including manifold, cat, link pipe and rear boxes to a Mini Cooper S Automatic?

PlayMini are saying the system was developed for a manual, and they give no guarantees it will fit an Auto. Would rather check before ordering.

I realise the Cooper S Auto variant has it's own forum, but the Engine & Drivetrain Tuning thread seemed more suitable. If not, could a mod please move this thread to the S Auto forum.

I am now thinking of not putting the manifold on and only putting on the exhaust from the cat back. Will it give a similar sound without the manifold?

Any help appreciated.

Ive got a playmini exhaust on my Cooper S but no manifold. It sounds lovely. The manifold just makes the car perform better and makes the exhaust louder and deeper. I'm not sure if the manifold will fit your auto. Cause I think the autos engine sits more to one side than the manual Cooper S.

It's the sound we're looking for as we already have mighty fine performance from the car. I guess no-one in the country (that frequents Mini2.com or newminiscotland.co.uk) has fitted a Play Mini to an auto.... could I really be the first?
