Just traded my wifes' VW beetle V5 for a MCS JCW 2003.....new to mini and this forum...! Pick it up on Thursday.

Black with black roof (electric sunroof) and dark glass...looks brilliant !

Couple of questions....

- is it worth upgrading to 210bhp ?
- What fuel is best to use...optimax ? tesco 99 ? or something else ?
- What do you think about silver/anthracite viper stripes ?

post some pictures of the mini, ive seen a black S with silver vipers and i quite liked it, silver would look better than white i think, also vipers are relativly cheap from local signwriters i got mine done for £30

Always worth checking if the 210 upgrade will adversely affect your insurance quote.
I added just the JCW filter & many Ins Co`s wouldnt touch me

I should think any fuel around 98 RON & above will be more than adequate, it just depends whatever is locally available.

I personally like viper stripes but its all personal taste really.

Upgrade definalty worth it - no need to tell the insurance comapny as its part of a standard JCW upgrade kit now. (they already charge you for it)

Defianlty use 98 ron petrol - although BP optimax at 97 is supposedly the best for performance....
