hi, is there much of a difference between an 02 and an 05 exhaust in terms of diameter?

I have an 05 MCS, and when i installed a Oneballed exhaust off a mate that had an 02 MCS. It doesn't seem to be any louder than my old stock exhaust. Does anyone think that it'll be louder if i oneball my 05 exhaust?

Yes the 05 is larger. I think it's quarter or half a centimetre?

Edit--is it worth spending another 50-100 bucks or so to swap over and oneball my 05 exhaust?
