Im very interested in upgrading my 2004 S to the 210bhp works kit and was wondering if there are any deals to be had from dealers.All feedback would be appreciated.I had a letter from my local dealer offering it fitted for £3400 then read from someone on here that a dealer was doing it for £3600 including the works brakes.That sounds like a great deal. Also is the works kit worth the money and what are the brakes like?

I got a letter though from Wollaston motors in Northampton back in mid November 2005, £3,600 for 210hp and the Brakes, inc VAT and Fitting.

Dont know if it will still be available though, worth a phone call

i got mine for 4k fitted full conversion and brakes also

3500 for JCW 210 mmmmmmmm
1950 for GTT 230 MMMMMMMM

I have to go with wildsMCSC here - value for money wise I would always go for GTT. IMO, a warranty is not worth £2400 (I think its about 1k fitted for GTT 210)

thanks for your replys,My local dealer is grimsby but ive never been very impressed by them.Bought the car from mini in hull.If you could give me some contact numbers for the dealers offering cheap kits that would be great

did not get on with them too well

peterbourgh did my kit with brakes for 4K when they first released that the kit would be factory fit from then on

thay can be contacted on 01733 707074 speak to darren davey you have to barter with them well i did anyway

but i go there from boston

who H'astle !!!! yeah would'nt get anything from there, everytime i ordered parts they got it wrong some way or another!! I now order all my parts from Prestons Mini In colne, absolute top people, sure they would do you a deal

the man speaks sense you could try prestons at colne as they have done some big deals for mini2 folk

Just to balance this thread I have bought 2 mini's from Astels Grimsby and they fitted the JCW kit to one and all my dealings with them have been very good , they are courteous and friendly and have not ripped me off. you want to try Porsche dealers if you want your pant's taking down I could write a book on how badly they have treated my son on the purchase and subsequent dealings of a 70K car.

Hi I am sorry can not find the papers at the moment but I do remember it was less than any other dealer in the North, my advise is go in and speak to them, when people like you it can make the world of difference
