My exhaust... very suprised!

I'm getting an exhaust put on my MC as my previous car had a free flowing exhaust, with straight through pipe.

Notice my suprise when I get the car on a ramp and see that from the cat to the back box, it is a straight through pipe... with the tinniest mid-box you've ever seen! Couldn't believe it.

I'm getting a back box put on the car now, as opposed to full system, as it's practically got one! Hopefully I'll get a few more ponies out of the back box, along with a fruity note. Keeping the stock tail pipe though, as I like its apperance, and I won't look like a little chav

Anyone else noticed this on their MC's?

Attack of the Zorts

While you were under the car did you notice that apart from the mid pipe baffle (the small one) the stock system then takes in not one bit two full size silencers.

I've ditched one of these, using a re-route pipe, saving weight, time and money and I get to keep my two "coke cans" at the back (the stock tail pipes) but the best bit is the deeper noise.

Not sure if it has done anything to improve engine breathing as I had a few other goodies added at the same time, but the car now sounds awesome and goes like I think it should!

Enjoy

I have a Cooper, so only have one rear silencer at the back. Going to powerflow on Saturday to get the back box sorted, and keep the coke can tail pipe, 'cause I like it!
