DIY Performance Upgrades for Cooper with Sound Kit

Evening All,

I have a pre 04 Mini Cooper with the Works Tuning kit on it (so its the one with more BHP) and am wondering what sort of upgrades I could do to enhance the performance some more without spending mega bucks,

My options are.....
bluefin,
MPH ECU remap
and/or the JCW Cone Air Filter.

My concerns with either remaps are that it will overwrite the updated ECU that comes with the JCW Sound kit - so will i actually get any gain (plus the 2nd air filter kicks in at 4500rpm-is this controlled by the ECU??)

My concern with the JCW air filter is that it will affect the performance because its replacing the JWCSK Air filter

Could anyone post thoughts/experince or correct any of my mistakes, i'm not really too familar with engine upgrades, so will need a bit of guidance

Thanks,

a good start would be the jcw cone filter as this will still retain your warranty its not worh messing the warranty up unless you can afford it imo but see to the suspension and brakes first and you will leave people stunned with how much better the car will handle as imo its always better to sort hadeling over power first
