If you have an MC (not an MCS) then the pulleys that everyone talks about, is sadly missing from your car.
The pulley is the supercharger drive pulley and changing the size of it increases or decreases the speed at which the supercharger spins, effectively forcing more air into the engine.
Sorry for the bad news (being a fellow Cooper owner) about your missing 'pulley' !!!

Not quite....I would still loved to be taught! I will hopefully be getting an MCS soon and am also lost on pullies. I've read about them over and over again, but it's all non sense to me, lol.

15% - Track use, now is this a bigger pulley? It spins slower correct?
17& - Street use?
19% - Street use, but since the belt is small, it slips correct? And doesn't this pulley spin the fastest?

Then Crank Pulleys

2%
3%

I have no idea what they do...? But I do know you can get a 17% pulley and match that with a 2% crank to achive a 19% correct?

Which pulley would you recommend, being a daily driver car, that sees the track maybe 1-2/year? Which spin faster, slower? What the the realibility issues with the different pulleys?

Thanks!
-Cody

I recommend clicking on the SEARCH button, pulling up a comfy chair, boiling up a jug of coffee and settle in for some serious reading....
