Deffo not supported by BWM warranty, no surpirse there. I was quoted £3500 to go from standard 163 to 225, I'm sure theres another 225 thread with costs from 210 to 225 at £1500.

Both only avaliable JCW, see the motorsport section on there web site.

How much in terms of BHP does just the JCW sports manifold add. I was under the impression from JCG your looking at 225 from just the manifold, that is if your going from 210?

Thanks Guys,
In relation to the cost of it.
Lets just say it was a hell of a lot cheaper than looking after my Maserati 3200 ! which was a nightmare financially !

Based on that experience I would say the cost is relative.

i'm itching for the sounds/videos of the manifold and exhaust.

I wonder what the difference is with the superchargers of the 210 vs the 225?

The car is totally agressive with the conversion and the Sound is amazing.

Yes there are other conversions on the market but the reason we went with JCW is because of the company history regarding the engine work with Mini's and the fact that the customer service is outstanding combined with the down to earth approach of the Engineers.

In addition the research and development into the products was long and extensive which made us confident in purchasing this conversion.

Pics and Vid clips of the finished Vehicle to follow in the next week.

if thats really £1500 for a 210bhp to the 225 and includes all that seems a good price, as I was quoted over 1k for the manifold alone

very tempted

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?

is it really worth 1500 quid to loose yer warranty and only gain 15 horses tho??

surely your better off going with an after market manifold and intercooler which will see the same gains maybe a touch more but u save 500 quid to spend on petrol?

I understand some of you are JCW junkies, just thought i'd ask the question

£600 is just for the labour for the LSD, add to that the £500+ cost of the parts. Thats what I'm lead to believe anyway.

I will post vid clips and then you can decide .
But for personal performance then you have to experience in person.
