in great detail.

This was deal of the century and for once was not too good to be true

Just cause you spoke on the phone doesn't mean someone can't spin you a yarn. Since when do dealerships have JCW Kits just knocking about?

why wouldn't the delear just've fitted it to one of their cars and then left some ropey old bits laying around in the old building?

Surely the mark-up on a demo/part-ex would warrant doing that?

How much would fitting cost? You'd need the ECU flash doing and warranty wise it would need to BMW/JCW doing the work, which may be more hassle than its worth.

Edit: Ask the seller for the JCW No. then cross reference with BMW/JCW and that should validate their claims

Well i believe him. My mate minipaul on here bought a full works kit with everything
included from ebay, and got it fitted at the dealership no problem. Full kit, plus
certificate the lot at the same price if not cheaper than this one went for!
He has been driving around in it happy as larry and encountered no problems!

The seller told him that a customer ordered the works kit, cancelled it and so they
had a full works kit laying around the store and so a few of the boys that worked there
sold it on ebay!

Anyway i dont want to dwell on this situation for to long, you guys can come to
your own conclusions ie stolen, too good to be true, etc etc

I cant explain why the BMW company were so stupid to let a kit worth 3500
go for 1400.

No i was away to buy it, then some one else clicked the "buy it now" button
before me and so the seller sold it to him. I dithered about just too
long, im gutted i missed out.
