Scotland Limited Slip Diff

Can anyone tell me if the Limited Slip Diff from the post 2003 Cooper 'S' will fit the Gearbox/diff casing of the 2003 Cooper?

Thanks

Hi,

I don't think so.

I recently put a quaife in my 02 cooper S. My team mate (Stu Jones) and my mechanics did some research beforehand. I seem to recall somone saying that the mini LSD was not compatible with the 02 casing. Also, mini would not sell the LSD as a part, but would only sell the entire gearbox / diff as an entire unit.

By the way, the quaife drops straight into the standard cooper S casing.

PM Stu Jones and he may know more details

Cheers

Robbo

Ok, thanks for that. It would have been too simple to drop the 'S' LSD into the Cooper casing eh?

Cheers

Its a lot like the flywheel situation. I've seen a Cooper s flywheel get fited to a Cooper but it took a few tricks.
