Question Reduction Pulleys...

hey,

i'm not too advanced in the car...."lingo" and i've got a couple questions. first off, what exactly does a reduction pulley do? and, in your opinion, what is the best reduction pulley to buy in the US...or maybe, which pulley do YOU have and why do you like it?

thanks a lot ,

Smaller pulley make the supercharger spin faster to create more boost. More air + fuel = more power. I have chosen 15% reduction from Alta but I am sure other makes will do the same benefit. I have also taken advantage of the free sale state tax in Oregon where the Alta is made. I think that 15% reduction is a good balance of extra power and reliability.
Browes around in the forum section and valuable informations will help your decision making as there are lots of great and knowledgable people who have shared their experiences.
By the way, the new pulley will make you smile wider than before.
