| Newbie Adventure | Milltek Exhaust Fitting Finally booked my S in at AMD to have the Milltek Cat Back System fitted. Heard some ppl have probs with rattles and burning away the aero rear bumper. I myself have a rear aero bumper and would like to some advice on what to look for in a good fitment. Thanks! Wilman |

Offline | Yeah i have got to get mine refitted due to it hitting the centre plate as its moved out of allignment. Check that it's nowhere near the centre plate when it is fitted. Also some hav had different plastic/rubber fittings used which attach the exhaust on to the hangers. My mechanic bangged a number of extra washers on to ensure it didn't burn the aero kit on my car. If you can ask to have a look at the car when it is still up on the ramp to have a decent check yourself. Having said that AMD fitted my Milltek on my old Cooper and i found the service to be superb. Enjoy it when you get it fitted as it will sound great!! |

| Newbie Adventure | Is the Centre Plate the one under the battery? How did u manage to move it out of allignment? Once fitted, how does it burn away the areo kit if fitted incorrectly? I would like to know what to look for just incase i dont get a chance to look at the car when up on the ramp. |
